Explanation of Ingredients:
Avena Sativa: This ingredient has been used in India for centuries to
treat opium addiction. It is a calming herb that reduces stress and helps
ease jitters.
Lobelia Inflata: Also known as Indian tobacco. The active constituent
in this herb is lobeline, an alkaloid similar to nicotine. This alkaloid
reduces the desire for nicotine because it is thought to bind to the nicotine
receptors in the body. The herb also has relaxant and expectorant properties,
and may improve lung function.
Capsicum Annuum: Cayenne stimulates excretion of nicotine wastes in the
sweat, clears mucus and breaks up congestion. It also carries other herbs
throughout the body, making them more potent.
Glycyrrhiza Glabra: One of the most prescribed herbs in China, Licorice
helps control cravings by nourishing the adrenal glands, thereby alleviating
the stress of nicotine withdrawal.
Zingiber Officinale: Ginger root is a circulatory stimulant that enhances
the effectiveness of other herbs. It also soothes nausea and helps the
body to recover from the effects of stress.
Piper Methysticum: Numerous clinical studies have verified the efficacy
of this herb in significantly reducing stress and irritability, common
symptoms of nicotine withdrawal. It is also shown to have analgesic and
muscle-relaxing effects.
Nutmeg Fruit: Nutmeg helps to increase absorption of other nutrients,
and it also helps to calm the mind and promote sound sleep.
